How the lists are made. Every Nifty 500 stock is read for the same checks: moving averages (golden or death cross, price against its 50-day and 200-day average), the 52-week high and low, how it has moved over 20 sessions against the Nifty, a large move today on heavy trading, and the latest results (profit and revenue against a year ago). Each check that points up earns the stock a point or more on the bull side; each that points down earns points on the bear side. The number on each card is its signal count; the reasons are listed in plain words. These are facts from price and results data. They are not recommendations and carry no targets.

Bear side

How to read this. A stock on the bull side has several signals pointing up at once; that describes what the data show now, not what the price will do next. Signals lag, can reverse quickly and say nothing about a company's value, debt, orders or management. Averages are calculated by CapitCue from daily closing prices up to the last completed session; the price, today's move and the 52-week range are live from the exchange feed. A cross can be false if a stock has had a split or bonus in the last two years. Results signals come from the automatic analysis on the Results Analysis page, which is not reviewed by a person. Company filings are read from the subject line only, not the full document, and a filing can be good or bad news whatever its type. Bulk and block deal data covers only the latest session and mostly smaller companies, so it appears here only when a Nifty 500 stock had a deal. The sector move is the middle move of Nifty 500 stocks with the same industry label today. Always check the company's own filings and your own situation, or speak to a SEBI-registered adviser, before any decision. CapitCue shows information only. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold, or investment advice.
