Bars show total futures open interest (all expiries added up, in shares), coloured by what the day did: price up and OI up = long buildup; price down and OI up = short buildup; price up and OI down = short covering; price down and OI down = long unwinding. The line is the stock's closing price.

How to read this. Open interest is the number of futures contracts still open at the end of the day. Rising OI with rising price means new buyers are adding; rising OI with falling price means new sellers are adding; falling OI means positions are being closed. These describe positioning and what the numbers did. They are not forecasts. Data: NSE derivatives and cash reports for each trading day (published after the close). CapitCue shows market data only.
